Rare Opportunity to Program and Operate 199-Seat Off-Broadway Theater Greenwich House Releases Request for Proposal

Greenwich House is soliciting proposals to program and operate a 199-seat theater in its main Greenwich Village building at 27 Barrow Street. The venerable West Village settlement house seeks a non-profit theater company partner to occupy the space for its own purposes and productions while working with Greenwich House’s Music School to develop an educational youth theater program. From its origins in a gym in 2003, the annual Taste of Greenwich House (to be held this year on March 13) has developed into a showcase of the Village’s best restaurants and a “must-attend” for everyone who follows the Greenwich Village food scene.
