GHMS Hosts Ear to the Earth Festival

For three days, Greenwich House Music School will host the Electronic Music Foundation (EMF) for its 2010 Ear to the Earth Festival: "Water and the World."

All of the performances focus on forming an "understanding the current states of water in the world and our social and cultural attitudes towards water," and feature projects that will make us aware of water. According to the curator, he wants to "direct attention to environmental issues relating to water, among them drinkable water, melting ice, rising sea levels, polluted rivers, overfishing, storm intensity, and salinity, to name a few."

As a part of the festival, which includes artists from around the globe, Greenwich House will host the following events at the Renee Weiler Concert Hall:
