North River Music: Stephen Dydo

Over the last decade, composer/Guqin Master Stephen Dydo has developed a music synthesizing Western serialism, Chinese guqin traditions, Japanese togaku, and Buddhist ritual. On April 08 at 8pm, Dydo, presents a program of his recent works for solo guqin, Japanese kugo, and Western instruments.

Guest artists include Susan Altabet, flute; Tomoko Sugawara, kugo; Eileen Clark, soprano; and others TBA.


Admission is payable at the door from 7:30pm and costs $15 general, $10 for students and seniors. This performance will be held at Renee Weiler Concert Hall, which is located at 46 Barrow Street, NYC (between Seventh Ave. South and Bedford Street).
