Adam Welch Named Director of GH Pottery

Greenwich House is pleased to announce that Adam Welch has been named Director of Greenwich House Pottery, March 2011.

As a fine arts potter, Adam has shown his artwork in solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States, as well as authoried pieces that have been published in journals both nationally and internationally. He has been with Greenwich House Pottery in various roles since 2003 and has a great breadth of knowledge of the medium as well as a great respect for the historic significance of the Pottery in the Greenwich Village community.

In addition to his work at the Pottery, Adam is also a Visiting Lecturer at Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey. We're extremely pleased to welcome him as Director and look forward to the program’s growth through his innovative leadership.

Born in Fairfax, Virginia, he received his BFA from Northern Arizona University in 2000 and his MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2003.
