The Jane Hartsook Gallery announces an exhibition and sale of ceramics from some of the greatest ceramists of the 20th Century.
Greenwich House Pottery has the legacy of being one of the oldest non-profit facilities in the country dedicated to the education and promotion of the ceramic arts. Over more than 100 years in operation it has amassed an impressive collection of works by artists who have worked at Greenwich House at various points in their careers. In 2007, Garth Clark Gallery and the Jane Hartsook Gallery teamed up to host two sales to establish the Pottery’s Endowment. The Endowment is designed to further support the pottery in perpetuity. This third sale will feature work not previously available for sale in addition to newly donated works from the collections of our members. The exhibition includes early examples of the work of prominent ceramics artists:
