In addition to handbuilding techniques, this demonstration will cover a range of techniques for decorating on both greenware and bisqueware. Techinques covered: Mishima (Japanese slip inlay), Sgraffito (slip carving), sprig molds, slip trailing, shellac relief as well as use of engobes on bisqueware and brushware on glazes and slips. You will go home with multiple handouts regarding glaze recipes, material sources and step-by-step descriptions of techniques demonstrated. This is not a hands-on workshop. Currently registered students qualify for a discount. Register today.

The exhibition will run through November 17.
