Suzy Goodelman: Natural Order

April 19 - May 17
Opening Reception: April 19, 6:00 - 8:00 pm

Greenwich House Pottery is pleased to present Natural Order – new vessels by artist Suzy Goodelman. For her first solo exhibition in Greenwich House Pottery’s Storefront Gallery, Goodelman has created numerous large and small-scale elegant anthropomorphic vessels that reflect upon her sense of beauty formed from inner reflection.

“My aesthetic is informed by the balance and harmony I’ve found inside myself. Having grown up spending time alone and unable to rely on outer circumstances for a sense of security, I learned to find an interior connection…an inner access to a more beautiful world. It’s the heart of my spiritual life and where I source my work. I seek to align the pieces I make with this ideal. A piece is successful when it embodies this inner sense of grace and balance. Its ultimate success comes when it reflects to the viewer a glimpse of this beauty, offering them connection to a stillness inside.” –Suzy Goodelman
