The mission of Greenwich House is to help individuals and families lead more fulfilling lives by offering social and health services, cultural and educational programs, and opportunities for civic involvement to New Yorkers of all ages and backgrounds.

Vision


Founded in 1902 in the settlement tradition, Greenwich House is dedicated to improving the quality of life of the individuals and families in Greenwich Village and across the city. New Yorkers from all segments of society, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, and religion are welcomed. We offer flexible and responsive services that address a wide variety of contemporary challenges—early childhood education, drug and alcohol abuse, mental healthceramic arts education, musical enrichment, elder care and senior social activities
