Julia Haft-Candell
 will give an artist talk at Greenwich House Pottery as part of #GlobalDayofClay.

Julia Haft-Candell was born in Oakland, California, received a BA in art and international relations from UC Davis, and an MFA from CSU Long Beach. She currently lives and works in Los Angeles. She was the first Joan and David Lincoln Visiting Artist in Ceramics at Scripps College and Claremont Graduate University from 2012–2015. She attended the Skowhegan School for Painting and Sculpture in 2016, and is represented by Parrasch Heijnen Gallery in Los Angeles. Haft-Candell has been in numerous solo and group exhibitions including at Parrasch Heijnen Gallery (Los Angeles, CA; 2017); Rosslyn Studios (Los Angeles, CA; 2015); Craft and Folk Art Museum (Los Angeles; CA, 2018); Franklin Parrasch Gallery (New York, NY; 2016). Her work has been reviewed by ArtForum, Sight Unseen, The Los Angeles Times, The Huffington Post, and Artsy, among others.
