MADE IN CLAY 2017

DECEMBER 2, 2017 | 12 - 7 P.M.

Greenwich House Pottery is pleased to announce MADE IN CLAY, an Annual Handmade Holiday Sale taking place in our charming 1928 brick walk-up at 16 Jones Street in the heart of Greenwich Village.

This sale presents a diverse range of ceramic works including functional pottery, sculptures and other small objects perfect for gifts or keepsakes. With over fifty participating artists, Made In Clay offers one of the largest and most diverse displays of ceramics in New York City. Sip a glass of wine while you stroll through Greenwich House Pottery. It is a great place to start your holiday shopping.

Every Made In Clay artist has a unique story. We will share a series of short interviews with participating artists that highlight their interest in the medium on our Made In Clay Facebook event page leading up to the event. Join us on Facebook to learn about the artists and get a sneak peek at some of the work in the sale.

Concurrently, the Jane Hartsook Gallery (located on the first floor) will be hosting an opening reception from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. for an exhibition of ceramic work by Naomi Dalglish and Michael Hunt. Michael and Naomi live and work in the mountains of western North Carolina. Using local materials, they collaborate under the name Bandana Pottery to make wood-fired utilitarian pottery.
