Young Artist Series: Hannah Sun

Born in China and raised in Australia and New York City, pianist Hannah Sun is an active soloist, chamber musician, composer, and published and performing poet, eager to connect with diverse audiences through combined creative forms. She earned her Master and Bachelor of Music degrees at The Juilliard School, working with Seymour Lipkin and Jerome Lowenthal. Top Prize Winner of the New York Piano Competition, Long Island Conservatory’s International Music Competition, and 5 Towns Music and Art Young Musician Competition, Hannah has appeared as a soloist with the Manhattan Chamber Players, Orchestra of Southern Utah, and Corda Spirita Chamber Orchestra in Queensland, Australia. Beyond having concertized in esteemed venues throughout the world, Hannah’s passion of performance continues to reach churches, senior centers, schools, hospitals, and shelters.
