Studio Reminders
Specialty Firings

Cone 06, cone 04, cone 6, and cone 10 firings happen regularly throughout the term. Specialty firings such as luster at cone 018 and cone 2 happen on an as needed basis. Each of these firings has its own shelf in the kiln room; to participate leave your piece with its firing slip on the appropriate shelf. Now is a great time for a cone 2 firing, so fear not, and get your work to the shelf! Once there is a kiln load the work will be fired.

Spring in the Garden
We have all been anticipating the arrival of spring. This means we get to go outside more, breathe some fresh air and enjoy the serenity of the Pottery School Garden. Once again this year we are tremendously grateful for the gardeners (some of our members who generously volunteer their time) who are caring for the garden. Their work helps make that space a haven where we can take a break, eat our lunch or have a quiet conversation.

Help keep this space one we can all enjoy. Please do not put anything in the plant beds. Don’t take up all the seating with your wet pots. If you make a mess clean it up. And please do not use your cell phone in the garden. GHP is cell phone free.
