Studio Reminders
Classroom Cleaning Assignments
During your last class, please remember to complete your cleaning assignment and sort through and clean long forgotten pieces off of the class and bisque shelves.

Class Evaluations – please take a few minutes to email feedback about your winter class to It helps us to determine how well we are doing. Your feedback is valuable to us.

Fired Clay Cannot Be Reclaimed
Unwanted greenware, trimmings and slop go into the reclaim bucket. Unwanted bisque or glazeware go into the dumpster. Bisqueware has been showing up in the reclaim bucket lately which means sharp dangerous bits of ceramic in the clay.

End of term instructions – THE END IS NEAR
ALL overflow shelves must be cleared by end of term: Monday, March 26.

Place work to be fired in kiln room and bring home all personal items. For work in progress left on your Spring class shelf, each individual piece must be labeled with:
            1. Your name              2. Spring class #
Anything unlabeled and anything not on class shelves will be discarded during cleanup.

Firing trays and saggars must be claimed and stored on class shelves or taken home over the break for interterm cleaning. Any unclaimed firing trays and saggars left on the community shelf over the break will be discarded.

Whether or not you return for Spring term, ALL BISQUEWARE must be glazed and placed in the kiln room no later than Sunday, April 15th at 4:45 p.m.

Spring Cleaning
Once again the basement changing area will be completely cleaned during the inter-term break.
