GHM Curriculum

Greenwich House Music School helps to hone skills, providing focused guidance that allows students to grow at their own pace into their musicianship. Under the tutelage of some of the finest musicians in New York, students explore multiple aspects of musical expression. The school’s early childhood education program maintains a strong focus on music and art, incorporating emergent literacy, science and math skills to create a school-ready environment that values the importance of play as an essential aspect of learning.

Group classes
for adults and children alike allow for challenging and creative learning in a relaxed, open atmosphere where individual talents and skills help the group to learn and embrace each member’s individual expression.

Private lessons provide an intimate setting for specific and focused instruction, which allows the student to connect with their instrument in a more personal way.

Whether just picking up an instrument for the first time, or returning to improve your skills, Greenwich House Music School has the class for you. View our children’s and adults’ programming or consider signing up for private instruction. Read the 2011-2012 Arts Catalog.
