Greenwich House Music School will begin a theater program in partnership with the off-Broadway theater company Ars Nova in January 2019. This will be the first collaboration between Greenwich House and Ars Nova, who was recently chosen as the new theater partner for the Greenwich House Theater. The first offering in the theater program will be the class Stage Struck! - for children ages 6-10. Stage Struck! is a musical theater class designed to teach singing, acting and dancing. Curriculum will include character analysis and improvisation and be taught by a theater teaching artist TBD. The program is a vision of GHMS Director, Rachel Black, a classically trained actor and a graduate of the American Conservatory Theater’s MFA program.
