Testing

Most independent schools require applicants to take the Educational Records Bureau test (ERB). The ERB is a uniform educational assessment tool that eliminates testing at each school to which a child may be applying and provides score reports to all schools selected. Barrow Street Nursery School works with families through this process. An ERB administrator is assigned to our school for in-school testing, which relieves parents of the task of taking their child elsewhere for a testing appointment. It also allows the children to acquaint themselves with the tester in order to increase comfort level.
