Rentals at Greenwich House Music School

Greenwich House Music School has ample space for your next workshop, lecture, celebration, reception, performance or any other event in downtown New York you'd like to host. The Renee Weiler Concert Hall 

The Hall is located on the second floor of 46 Barrow Street. With a 20’ wide x 15’ deep stage that contains two Steinway Model B pianos (can be moved if necessary) and seating for up to 90 guests; the hall combines excellent acoustics with an intimate atmosphere to accommodate all forms of artistic expression.

Setup services are available for seating, music stands, lighting and amplification.

STUDIO Apartment - 20'5" x 14'6"

This project studio is the perfect space to compose, record or present your music. With amenities such as a Steinway Model B, a five-piece drum set, professional-grade audio gear and a 40-inch flat-screen monitor, the STUDIO Apartment could be the place where you create your next polished demo, hit song or movie score. Screening and presentations are also welcome.

Outdoor Patio - 36' x 24'

During the Fall and Spring, the picturesque double-wide brownstone enclosure can provide the perfect ambiance for any event.  With beautiful flowering trees and the old stone houses of the West Village as a background, the space can accommodate up to 70 seated and 120 for a standing reception.

Practice Room Rentals

Ten practice rooms are available to the general public for hourly use. Rental fees are $10 per person per hour, with a one-time $25 registration fee. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a minimum rental time of one hour. Practice rooms are not available for use on weekdays from 2:00 - 6:00 pm and close at 8:00 pm when concerts are scheduled.

Conference Room - 20'6" x 13'6"

The conference room is an ideal setting for client meetings or discussions. With seating for ten and adjacent to our double-wide brownstone's outdoor patio, this space is available to start-ups, artists, select non-profits and small businesses.
