Cecilia Land LCSW-R, LCAT

Cecilia Land joined Greenwich House in 2011 as a Senior Clinical Social Worker for the Children’s Safety Project. She focuses on the needs of children, adolescents and families, with a focus on dealing with sexual abuse and domestic violence. In 2021, Greenwich House merged CSP and another mental health clinic, Senior Health and Consultation Center, to form the Center for Resiliency and Wellness.

Ms. Land has worked as a clinician, psychotherapist, art therapist and caseworker for employers including Heartshare Preventive Services, Brooklyn Center for Psychotherapy, New York Foundling, Brooklyn Center for Families in Crisis, and Louise Wise Services.

Ms. Land obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Eastern Michigan University, a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Hunter College School of Social Work, and a Master’s degree in Art Therapy from Pratt Institute.

Ms. Land also obtained certification in EMDR, Trauma Informed Care, and the Treatment of Interpersonal Trauma. She is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker and as a Creative Art Therapist. She has also pursued various clinical certifications to continue to keep her clinical skills up to date. Ms. Land is a member of NASW (National Association of Social Workers) and AATA (American Art Therapy Association).
