With over 20 years of teaching Music and Movement classes from ages 2-12, Colleen uses a multi-sensory, hands-on approach to learning music. Through singing, movement, playing instruments, musical games and stories, each child’s musical potential is explored and developed. Percussion instruments, recorders and piano are used in conjunction with the curriculum and used in performances. Colleen also teaches piano to all ages, including adults.

Colleen graduated Magna Cum Laude in Piano Performance from Covenant College, and continued her education with classes at the Juilliard School Extension Division. She is certified in the Orff, Kindermusik (a Dalcroze based curriculum) and Musikgarten methods of teaching, and is also a member of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association).
