Lu Zhang

Lu Zhang, b. Xi’an, China, currently lives and works in New York. She received her BFA in Economics from Xian Jiao Tong University in 2008. She earned her MFA in Fine Arts and MS in Art History at Pratt Institute in 2015.  Lu works autobiographically ranging from photography and video to sculpture and installation. Lu also dedicates herself to ceramics among other disciplines. Her ceramic sculpture is characteristic human figures cooperate with everyday objects.
