Peter Gourfain received his BFA from the Art Institute of Chicago (1956). Peter has had numerous Solo Exhibitions and Group Exhibitions at the Guggenheim, Corcoran, Whitney Museum, and the MOMA. He has been a visiting artist at UC Davis, Rhode Island School of Design, Skowhegan, Massachusetts College of Art and has taught at Penland School of Crafts, and the Detroit Institute of Art, MI and has been teaching at the Pottery since 1995.
