Ballet III (Ages 8-9)

Students who take Ballet 3 should be fully comfortable with laterality (Right vs. Left), and will move on to more advanced barre and center work. This classes focuses on formal stretching and center work sequences, and students are expected to be able to perform intermediate-level Ballet steps and memorize longer pieces of choreography. Please note that students may be placed in class based on their ability instead of their age. All students must bring ballet shoes and leotards; gear details will be given when registration is completed. Class is 60 minutes.

  • If a class does not meet minimum enrollment requirements, GHMS will notify parents one week in advance of the beginning of class.
  • Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all students must wear masks.
  • Class size will be capped at 10 students.
  • Ballet I, II and III have been combined and meet Wed 4-4:45 temporarily.

  • Girls will need a leotard, pink footed tights and pink slippers.
  • Boys will need a white fitted shirt, black shorts or tights and black slippers.
  • We recommend for the leotard: style N5500C-royal blue
  • Girls hair must be worn in a traditional ballet bun at the crown of the head. Short hair must be clipped away from the face.
