Band Jams @ PS 3

Ages 7 and up

The GHYCC band class will be for students who are seven and up. It strives to give young musicians the space to create music in a collaborative environment. Whether they’ve played before or not, the course will teach them how to work with other bandmates, create songs/learn covers, perform in front of an audience, etc. The class is tailored to each student’s experience level, so it remains a fun, collaborative learning experience for all. The students will be split into a band of either 4 or 5 members. The instructor(s) will help their band develop a set of a few songs to perform at the live end-of-term concert.
