A safe and open space to discuss these difficult times, and fun ways to get through them. Each class period will consist of journaling, discussion, and a fun activities like games and coloring to unwind. Through a combination of journaling and discussion, we will study gratitude and friendship, as well as stress and anger.
By the end of the semester, each student will have constructed a hand-made journal, full of art, thought, and tips and tricks for handling our emotions. This class is intended for kids to gain the socialization and communication skills that can’t be provided by remote school. It will also allow them to practice consistent writing as well as strategies for managing stress and gaining self awareness
