4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Ages 8-11

In the zany and irreverent style of Saturday Night Live and Whose Line Is It Anyway,? students will apply improvisation skills and comic techniques to create original comedy sketches. Fun-filled theater games will encourage students to develop creative, unique, and outrageous comic characters and scenarios. Students will explore vocalization, spontaneity, and physicality in a fun, non-threatening, and supportive environment. Students will perform their sketches at the end of the term which will be streamed online for family and friends.

This class will meet in person with a cap of 10 people at the Greenwich House Theater, 27 Barrow St, our large off-Broadway theater venue. Due to COVID concerns, all students and faculty will wear masks and the theater has been outfitted with 4 HEPA air purifier filters.
