Fashion Art and Design
Ages 6 and up
In Fashion Art & Design we will explore different ways to work with fabric that include hand dyeing, silk screening, block printing, machine sewing, embroidery, weaving, and quilt making.
In this class, we learn design fundamentals while crafting items that can be used to decorate a home, for fashion, or for thoughtful gift-giving.
Items such as hats, clothes, stuffed animals, pot holders, quilts, pillows, and bags, can be made in this class.
The skills learned to make up the foundation of all fabric craft – so the sky is the limit!
We ask that all participants be prepared for working with / learn to work with a sewing machine.
