Fashion Art and Design

Tuesday
4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Ages 6 and up

In Fashion Art & Design we will explore different ways to work with fabric that include hand dyeing, silk screening, block printing, machine sewing, embroidery, weaving, and quilt making.

In this class we learn design fundamentals while crafting items that can be used to decorate a home, for fashion, or thoughtful gift giving.

Items such as hats, clothes, stuffed animals, pot holders, quilts, pillows, bags, can be made in this class.
The skills learned make up the foundation of all fabric craft – so the sky is the limit!

We ask that all participants be prepared for working with / learning to work with a sewing machine.
