Music and Art Discovery

3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Ages 3-4

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, classes will be capped at 10, students must wear masks, no in person singing is allowed,  and all art supplies and instruments will be cleaned between uses.

In Music, your child is introduced to the joy of music making through singing, percussion instruments, dancing, musical games and stories. Basic musical concepts are introduced along with group piano instruction. Your child’s curiosity to play the piano will be enhanced with other classmates through improvisation with sounds, notes and musical stories. Make this your child’s first step to learning and enjoying music!

In Art, children will explore their creativity and imagination through various art techniques, including painting, drawing and collage with step-by -tep guided instruction. The goal of this class is for students to develop a vocabulary of art and a mastery of the tools used to make their own art, which helps to increase their confidence in creation. Students will design both flat and 3D artworks through the exploration of texture, pattern and color.
