Art and Music Discovery (Ages 3-4)

Thursday
3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Ages 3-4

In Music, your child is introduced to the joy of music-making through singing, percussion instruments, dancing, musical games and stories. Basic musical concepts are introduced along with Group Piano Instruction. Your child’s curiosity to play the piano will be enhanced with other classmates through improvisation with sounds, notes and musical stories. Make this your child’s first step to learning and enjoying music! In Art, children will explore their creativity and imagination through various art techniques, including painting, drawing and collage.

Children will explore materials, tools and the process of art making with step by step guided instruction. The goal of this class is for students to create a vocabulary of art and a mastery of the tools used to create art, which helps to increase their confidence in creation. Students will create both flat and 3D artworks through the exploration of texture, pattern and color. Music and Art Discovery is led by Brenna Fisher and Colleen Itzen, a teaching team who collaborate together on the curriculum to create a fun and meaningful class experience for your child!
