Organic Alternative Art and Science

Tuesday
4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

In Alternative Art and Science we use unconventional materials including recycled found objects to create utilitarian art. Learning culinary skills are also part of the curriculum with students exploring the art of traditional food preservation techniques such as jam making and pickling.

Examples of projects include quilts made from hand dyed fabric and handmade picture frames made from found and recycled materials. .
