Greenwich House Music School is excited to be expanding our PLAYBILL’D program with this weekly after-school class.
PLAYBILL’D uses a student-centered approach to devising theater that follows the interests and voices of the students to create theater.
Each week students play theater games that teach performance and improv skills. Students explore new skills and themes each week, learning how to express their ideas through storytelling. Students also practice sharing ideas and bringing them to life through creative choices and collaboration.
PLAYBILL’D nurtures young artists, thinkers, and makers to turn their creative eyes on the world – and to tell us what they see. The final class will include a short performance for parents and caretakers.
This class will meet in person with a cap of 12 students. Due to COVID-19, all students and faculty will wear masks. Class held at Greenwich House Music School, with walkover handled by YCC staff.
