Storybook Theater

Ages 5-7

Storybook Theater uses children’s books as a springboard for play, embodying characters of all types and learning foundational theater terms and ideas.

Each week, students will read and explore a new book through several modes of art and performance. They will explore characters and relationships through dramatic play and theater games. They will draw characters of their own design. Finally, they will act out the stories they read each week, bringing their imagination to life. Storybook theater gives our youngest performers a chance to experience the joy and freedom of expression on stage.
