Theater Games (Ages 5-7)

Tuesday
4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Ages 5-7

Hosted by Greenwich House Music School, Theater Games is a physical, play-forward theater class for our youngest performers. This class leans into the playful nature of children and uses games to teach them how to work together, be expressive and safe in their bodies, and find joy in the world of performance and make-believe.

Students will get to jump, hop, crawl, move like animals, robots and statues, and whatever other creatures they create. They will also dance, tip-toe, and move slo-mo. They’ll crawl, laugh and freeze and frown – learning gross motor skills, new words, and emotional-social skills.

Students’ creative impulses are celebrated and explored in this class in teacher-led improvisations and story creations.

This class meets in person with a cap of 8 students.
