Inspired by S.A.I.L. (Staying Active & Independent for Life) this program is designed to increase muscle strength, balance, and range of movement. Focused primarily on standing, this is an active class that recommends sneakers, light weights or a thera-band, and a beverage to stay hydrated. The class has five components: warm-up, cardio, balancing, strength training, and cool-down. Although this is an active class, it can be modified depending on one’s fitness level.
