“Colorations and Explorations” by Joseph Daley was commissioned by Greenwich House Music School with assistance from the Department of Cultural Affairs. This live stream was made possible with funds from Continuum Culture & Arts and the Brooklyn Art Council. We would also like to thank the following people for their efforts to produce the video: Lee Odom, Andrew Drury, Andrew Jordan, JD Parran, and of course, our composer, Joe Daley.

After 50 years of working with some of the most remarkable artists in the adventurous music scene, Joseph Daley has emerged as one of jazz and contemporary music’s most exciting leaders and composers. His albums The Seven Deadly Sins and The Seven Heavenly Virtues earned rave reviews and secured a spot on several Best of the Year lists thanks to his innovative contemporary take on the tradition of Charles Mingus, Duke Ellington, and George Russell.
