Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday was created to unite us all in a day of generosity at the start of this season of giving. When you choose Greenwich House as an organization to support in this movement, your gifts:
- Provide a supportive space for kids to nurture their talents in the arts, tech, cooking and sports
- Allow more kids to access music education through scholarships for lessons and public school outreach
- Give emerging musicians an affordable place to rehearse and a stage to perform for the community
- Run pottery classrooms in our renowned, historic ceramics studio
- Enable artists to experiment and let their imaginations run wild with the Pottery’s Residency and Fellowship program
- Feed hundreds of seniors a day at our Senior Centers, where they also have access to a diverse calendar of events and a friendly community
- Provide mental healthcare and social services case management to seniors
- Create a safe space for children who have been victims of abuse, where they can get counseling and connect with adults who want to be their advocates
- Help those struggling with substance abuse to get back on their feet with medication treatment, counseling and vocational services
