Center for Healing
Essential, life-saving treatment for New Yorkers with opioid use disorder.
WE ARE LOCATED AT 190 MERCER STREET, 4TH FLOOR NY, NY 10012
At the Center for Healing, we provide on-site counseling and medical services, customized to meet the needs of the individual and their specific circumstances.
Our mission to be “a beacon in the community” means providing the highest quality of care to individuals with opioid use disorder while extending service to families and loved ones impacted by their addiction. We recognize that wellness and recovery require a holistic approach to healing across all aspects of an individual’s being.
Treatment not only addresses the consequences of substance use disorder but also its symptoms and underlying causes, empowering individuals to break the cycle of addiction more effectively.
Addiction is treatable.
As an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP), we utilize FDA approved medications to treat opioid use disorder. These medications are administered to patients by licensed medical professionals, along with other counseling, behavioral health, group therapy, peer support, and additional medical services.
We take action against Hepatitis C by integrating life-saving treatment into our methadone maintenance regimen. Our patient-centered approach incorporates harm reduction strategies and mental health support while addressing social determinants of health.
Recovery is a process, and treatment is only one step.
At Greenwich House, we meet you wherever you are in the process. Our interdisciplinary team — including physicians, licensed nurses, certified peer advocates, and case managers — all work with you to provide a clinical assessment and develop a comprehensive treatment plan. This individualized approach plays an essential role in supporting the health, healing, and recovery goals of each individual served.
We provide services that:
- Support the recovery and stabilization of persons served
