Roy Leavitt has been the Executive Director of Greenwich House since 1999. Roy is responsible for the operation of our multi-service settlement house, providing drug and alcohol treatment, mental health services, children services, services to the elderly, arts programming and community engagement opportunities. He oversees the organization’s financial operations, manages the budgetary process and ensures that the organization has sound financial controls. He also oversees all development activities and external relations with government, private and other organizations. Roy works with the Board of Directors on board development and agency operations. In addition, he supervises executive and senior staff to accomplish the agency’s goals, conduct strategic planning and development planning. Roy Leavitt received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington, Master’s degree from the University of British Columbia and has done doctoral work at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.
