Renee Weiler Concert Hall
The air-conditioned hall is located on the second floor of 46 Barrow Street. With a 20’ wide x 15’ deep stage that contains two Steinway Model B pianos, and seating for up to 14 individuals, or 28 people in groups of 2-4 people. There are requirements in place for COVID-19 precautions; for a full explanation of procedures and protocols, please read the Rental Facilities Information Packet. The hall combines excellent acoustics with an intimate atmosphere to accommodate all forms of artistic expression.
A Panasonic A/V projector and screen is also available. Live streaming of the event can also be included.
Setup services are available for seating, music stands, lighting and amplification.
Accredited Music Students and Non-Profits (including Mannes, Juilliard, NYU, Manhattan, etc.): $400
Standard Rental: $500
Standard Rental with Garden: $600
All rentals includes four hour event window.
(Please Note: Not ADA accessible. Pianos cannot be removed from stage.)
Rooms for Learning Pods
Three rooms are available for learning pods of up to 6 students and 1 teacher to rent. All rentals include high-speed WiFi and access to the garden, and can be reserved short-term or long-term. Spaces are available Monday-Friday from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. or 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. Rooms are cleaned before each session.
$260 per three-hour block (3 hours minimum)

Practice Rooms
Practicing at GHMS is available to non-students (user) upon payment of a one-time $30.00 registration fee.
After that, the cost is $10 per hour per room.
Room reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Please email production manager Andrew Jordan at ajordan@greenwichhouse.org to reserve. Starting October 1st, we will no longer accept walk-ins.
Every user must check in at the front desk for a health screening when they arrive, and wear facial coverings/masks while in the building.
If using a piano, user must clean the piano keys before they leave. Disinfectant wipes will be provided.
Users may practice from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 6:00-8:55 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saturday rooms are available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. The building is closed on Sundays.
Between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., practicing is not allowed for non-GHMS students.
We accept cash only. Please bring exact change.
GHMS closes at 8:55 p.m. Please leave when asked.
No unauthorized teaching or coaching is allowed in our studios.
No food or drink is allowed in any rooms.
Please report any piano issues to the front office.
Groups (more than 2 people) must make special arrangements.
In the summer, the building hours will vary. Please check the building hours with the Registrar in the summer before arriving.
Backyard Garden
During the spring, summer and fall, the picturesque double-wide Greenwich Village townhouse enclosure provides the perfect ambiance for any intimate event. With beautiful flowering trees and the old brick houses of the West Village as a background, the space can accommodate up to 28 people to maintain social distancing.
Setup services are available for seating, music stands, lighting and amplification.
Accredited Music Students and Non-Profits (including Mannes, Juilliard, NYU, Manhattan, etc.): $500
Standard Rental: $600
Prices include reservation of the Concert Hall in case of rain.
All rentals includes four hour event window.
The Studio
The project studio is the perfect space to compose and rehearse your music with a group. The Studio includes a Steinway Model B, a five-piece drum set and high quality speakers.
Basic Rental Fees:
$25 per hour
Conference Room
The conference room is an ideal setting for client meetings or discussions. With seating for twenty and adjacent to our double-wide brownstone’s outdoor patio, this space is available to start-ups, artists, select non-profits and small businesses.
